Teacup Kitchen sits in the heart of Manchester’s creative Northern Quarter, serving freshly prepared meals, homebaked cakes and some of the finest loose leaf teas available in the UK.
Best known for tea, coffee and indulgent cakes, Teacup also serves an array of breakfast, lunch and evening meals which are all made from scratch on the premises. Popular favourites include breakfast eggs, hand crafted pies and hearty soups and stews. Celebrated as the ‘Best Casual Dining Venue’ in the city, guests enjoy a mature and balanced menu in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Teacup began as a record shop nearly a decade ago, and has since transformed into a foodie favourite and powerhouse of the Northern Quarter. The restaurant is owned by acclaimed Manchester DJ, Mr Scruff, and his manager Gary McClarnan, both of whom are passionate about tea. Teacup serve one of the widest ranges of loose leaf teas available in the city, including a rolling selection of speciality Oolongs. Teacup serve artisan coffee and a winelist from Hanging Ditch.
Teacup excels in traditional British delights. Afternoon Tea is served from midday each day, comprised of three tiers of homemade finger sandwiches, savouries, miniature cakes, scones and fruit tarts served with pot of loose leaf tea or glass of bubbly. The Afternoon Tea selection change seasonally. Current favourites include a crisp and tangy cheddar & smoked pepper quiche, and a zingy passionfruit-meringue tart.

Teacup Kitchen have recently launched Teacup Catering, offering a unique menu and service to suit any occasion – including a hand delivered Afternoon Tea service. Teacup Catering offer quality, affordable catering for meetings and events, and wonderful bespoke ideas for private parties and weddings. Choose from a selection of canapés or sharing platters, or contact the team to discuss your requirements.
Teacup’s famous cakes are now also available to order for a celebration. The pastry team can work with you to create a bespoke cake for any occasion, or simply decorate one of their house favourites with your message for a personal touch.
