Lancashire Cricket Club CEO, Daniel Gidney, said: “Bails and Ales is back – but this year we’re going bigger than ever, with a huge screening of the FIFA World Cup final.
“We’re proud to have great relationships with Heineken and our local brewers, so the festival will offer the very best in Lancashire ales and lagers. Add this to the vibrant and exciting atmosphere of a Vitality Blast fixture and you’re on your way to a memorable day at Emirates Old Trafford.
“Whether you’re a T20 regular, new to cricket or simply looking for an exciting place to watch the FIFA World Cup final, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
Lancashire Cricket all-rounder, Steven Croft, said: “I’m really chuffed to know that Lancashire fans will be able to enjoy my own pale ale at Emirates Old Trafford during the Bails and Ales festival – it should be a great atmosphere!
“The brew was produced with Lytham Brewery for my Testimonial Year and 5p of every pint will go towards two charities close to my heart – Blackpool’s Brian House Children’s Hospice and the Professional Cricketers Association’s Benevolent Fund.”
Heineken Regional Sales Director, Graeme Nicholson, said: “We have a fantastic relationship with the team at Emirates Old Trafford and events such as the beer festival cement those links.
“I’m glad we can partner together on Bails and Ales so that more people can experience the great facilities on offer at such an iconic venue. We will also work with local breweries JW Lees, Frederick Robinson’s and Joseph Holts amongst others to provide a range of premium cask ales and craft beers.”
