Celebrity hairdresser Adee Phelan is coming back to Manchester after 15 years. Adee created one of the most iconic haircuts on Manchester Unit- ed’s David Beckham and has always had a strong connection to the City.

Adee Phelan has been giving back to the NHS throughout the COVID-19 pandemic by setting up his ‘Thank You to the NHS’ gift box campaign and now for the last few months the NHS Pop-ups campaign.

At the beginning of Lockdown Adee had an idea that he would like to give something back to the NHS heroes, so began collecting hair and beauty products to gift to NHS workers.

After his appeal on social media went viral, multiple product companies showed their generosity by donating pallets of products to Adee who then packaged them up and delivered gift boxes to hospital NHS workers.

Having donated over a staggering 10,000 boxes to 46 hospitals, equating to more than £1,000,000 worth of retail donations Adee has taken the giving back campaign one step further and has launched the first Pop-Up Salon for the NHS.

After two successful pop-ups in both London and Liverpool Adee is bring- ing the NHS love to Manchester for a week in October at the Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre. The lucky guests are not only treated to drinks, a free haircut and blow-dry, but receive a gift box filled with hair and beauty goodies to take away too.

Support has come from; David Haye, Paddy McGuinness, Max Beesly, Chef Tom Kerridge, Pete Wicks, Joey Essex, Piers Morgan, Kenny Dalglish, The Prodigy to name just a few.

Guests can expect to spot a few celebrities attend the pop-ups, with Calum Best and Paddy McGuinness both promised to make and appearance

“At the beginning of Lockdown I could not quite believe what was happen- ing and just felt like I had to do something to give back. My expertise is hairdressing so I thought why not call upon all my contacts and see what we can pull together and do. I had no idea it would be such as success and cannot believe how generous the manufacturers have been,” said Adee.

Thanks to the kind donations of the public and his sponsors Calum Best, David Haye and Neon Management this has been all made possible.

“They deserve to be treated and recognised. They are our heroes.“
