Enjoy a Day Out With Thomas at the East Lancashire Railway, 7 – 8 Aug, 2 – 3 Oct 2021

Everyone’s favourite little blue engine returns!

Calling all little engineers, join Thomas the Tank Engine, the Fat Controller and cheeky station sweepers Rusty and Dusty for a train ride unlike any other.

Your day starts at Bury Bolton Street Station where Sir Topham Hat will be meeting guests when they arrive and making sure everyone behaves as Thomas himself leads his carriages into the station for boarding. Once ready to depart the Number 1 engine will take you on a 45 minute round trip up and down the beautiful Irwell Valley.

Wind your way past the peaceful stations of Burrs Country Park and Summerseat before you arrive at pretty Ramsbottom. Here, after a short rest, Thomas will remain at the north end of the train whilst one of our heritage diesel locomotives takes you all back to Bury.

The fun doesn’t stop there! Once you get to Bury you can take the short walk to Bury Transport Museum where there will be additional entertainment including all singing, all dancing performances by Sodor’s cheeky station sweepers Rusty and Dusty. There will also be an imagination station that will be playing host to Thomas themed stories and activities as well as socially distant entertainment, including magic shows!

Tickets cost £38.50 for a table for 2 and £66 for a table for 4. Don’t miss out on this incredible event.
