    Explore the rich history of Egyptian and Sudanese Golden Mummies, with an exhibition held at Manchester Museum that features over 100 objects and eight mummies. Presenting a rich perspective of beliefs about the afterlife during the Greek and Roman era of Egypt. Due to popular demand, this free exhibition has been extended into 2024.   3. Murder Mystery Night, East Lancs Railway 

    Looking for an evening filled with super sleuthing and problem-solving? East Lancs Railway is running their very own ‘who dunnit’ with sparkling drinks and a delicious three-course meal. During the 3-hour journey, figure out who committed the dastardly crime and solve the case! The Death at the Dons series launches January 3rd, with tickets starting at £89.   4. Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World, Lowry Theatre  

    The empowering pop musical is returning to Salford for 5 weeks over Christmas and into the new year. Based on the popular children's book by Suffragette relative Kate Pankhurst, join the heroine Jade as she meets the incredible wonder women including Frida Kahlo, Rosa Parks, Amelia Earheart and Emmeline Pankhurst to name a few. New Opening: Stanleys, Stockport

 

Step back in time at Stockport’s newest bar by Little Underbank. Stanley’s is a Victorian-themed bar offering a vast range of beers, spirits and cocktails.
