1. Watch the world-famous Harlem GlobeTrotters

On Saturday 29 April, join a guided tour of the People’s History Museum’s main galleries to find out more about the museum’s collections and stories. Led by Dr Bob Dinn from the museum’s Visitor Experience Team, this 45-minute guided tour of Main Gallery Two explores politics and protest after 1945. From the foundation of the Welfare State to LGBTQI+ rights, green issues and migration. Tickets start from £6. 
 

4. Discover the Best of Spanish Cuisine and Culture at The Oast House in Spinningfields 
 

On Sunday 30 April, Manchester favourite, The Oast House, is partnering with Madri Exceptional, to offer the best of Spanish cuisine and entertainment, with tapas, paella, churros, and a limited-edition gin, infused with classic Spanish flavours. Live music and dance performances add to the atmosphere at The Oast House's beautiful outdoor space. 5. Spend your evening with some enchanted Mermaids at Sea Life Manchester 
 

On Friday and Saturday this week, there’ll be some very special evening visitors at SEA LIFE Manchester. Come and explore the full aquarium in these limited, intimate evening sessions and you’ll also get a rare chance to marvel at the real-life mermaids as they join sea turtles, Cammy & Ernie in the ocean tank for a magical time! If you catch their eye, you may even get a mer-mazing greeting!

Don't miss the chance to witness a unique collaboration between Scottish guitarist Sean Shibe and the Manchester Collective this May. The tour showcases a stunning range of music, from the baroque classic ‘La Folia’ to David Lang’s ‘Killer’, with Shibe performing on classical and electric guitar alongside the Collective's all-star string quartet.
