I'm A Celebrity... Jungle Challenge Sign

1. Feel Your Fears at I'm A Celebrity Jungle Challenge, Quayside Media City 

This Easter, the I'm A Celebrity Jungle Challenge at Quayside Media City has a brand-new challenge for families to take part in. Guests are encouraged to put their senses to the test as they face darkness and attempt to guess the terrible items hidden inside the small boxes of dread. If you correctly guess the contents, you will be rewarded with additional stars. Feel Your Fears runs from Saturday 2 April - Sunday 24 April with tickets from £27.50.  

2. Easter Treetop Trail at Treetop Nets, Heaton Park  

During the school holidays, families are invited to Treetop Nets at Heaton Park for a "cracking Easter hunt with a difference" Treetop Nets offers an exciting aerial egg hunt in the high trees, replacing chocolate eggs as rewards, in favour of a greener alternative, 'Treebombs.' All guests are welcome to participate in the spectacular Easter Treetop Trail, which runs from 1 to 19 April, where youngsters can jump free on the enormous aerial trampolines while hunting for the 20 wooden Easter bunnies hidden amid the trees. 

3. Watch Beauty and the Beast musical at the Palace Theatre 

‘Be our guest’ and book your tickets to the enchanting musical Beauty and the Beast, returning to the UK stage in March 2022 with performances at the Palace Theatre. First premiered on Broadway 26 years ago, this spellbinding Disney production has been revived by the original creative team and is sure to be an evening like no other. Tickets are on sale for the performances that run from 31 March to 4 June 2022. 

4. New pop musical premieres celebrating female icons 

Celebrate some wonderful women this Easter and teach your little ones their inspirational stories. Head to The Lowry Theatre for the world premiere of a new pop musical, Fantastically Great Women. Hear the stories of some icons first-hand, from Frida Kahlo, Rosa Parks and Marie Curie to Manchester’s very own Emmeline Pankhurst. This new musical will introduce kids to some of the leading ladies in history, those who really did change the world, from explorers to scientists, artists to activists. The show runs from Tuesday 5 to Saturday 9 April, and tickets start from £15. 

5. Easter Bunny Hunt and more at Ordsall Hall, Salford 

Get involved in the Easter Bunny Hunt from Sunday 3 to Thursday 17 April at Salford's Ordsall Hall. Find the eight bunnies hidden around Ordsall Hall and Gardens, each representing a different era in the venue's history. Other activities include Tudor Playtime, which compares toys from the time to toys now; Meet a Servant, where you can learn about their busy lifestyle and make a perfume bag to take home, and an Easter Egg Plant Pots session. 

New opening of the week: Yellowhammer Bakery, Stockport 

Chef Sam Buckley and his team introduced their newest endeavour, Yellowhammer, which is poised to grace Stockport's old town very soon. Fresh off the back of Where The Light Gets In's newly awarded Green Michelin Star, Yellowhammer will highlight delectable baked goods and deli items whilst collaborating with the venue’s pottery element, which will supply the bakery with cups and plates. 

Book Now: The UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 is coming to Greater Manchester
