An immersive scare attraction is coming to Manchester’s B.E.C Arena for Halloween weekend (31 October - I November) – Into The Dark, presented by the popular purveyors of all-things-scary, For The Love of Horror.

Into The Dark

Last year, For The Love Of Horror put on a massive horror convention at Manchester's Bowlers Exhibition Centre (covered by Haunt by Dr Sorcha Ní Fhlainn here), but 2020 has presented a whole new challenge, with the pressures of Covid-19 especially. Yet the team behind it have responded with innovation, determined to bring a Halloween highlight to the city, developing a huge scare experience  featuring four scare zones – all managed in a Covid secure way.

Step into a world of iconic horror legends, evocative imagery, dark delights… and plenty of scares. Whether you are a film fan, love the literature or just want to embrace the Halloween mood, there is something for everyone in a visit of Into The Dark.

Live actors add to the intensity of the experience, as well as an opportunity for photos, with social distancing maintained throughout. Into The Dark combines our fear of the unknown with genre favourites for a unique and exciting choice for 2020’s spooky season.

The ticket price of £20 includes all four scare zones (for the extreme addition, add on £10) and has limited allocation on each session. Sessions are split into 30-minute blocks to comply with government guidelines.

The limited number of tickets per session, available via the website here, means that participants really are in for a personal and intense experience.
