The team behind the hotly anticipated Ivy Spinningfields restaurant have revealed some exciting details for the new venue, including their official launch date - 27 November. Said to be the largest restaurant to open in the UK in 2018, the site will have space for approximately 535 covers over four unique floors.
Set in a striking new timber-framed structure in the heart of Manchester’s commercial district, the restaurant will feature a ground floor brasserie, first floor private dining room, an Asian-themed bar and restaurant and a Roof Garden.
A traditional Ivy brasserie will occupy the ground floor. It’ll be open all day seven days a week, serving modern British classics including truffled orzo pasta, lobster linguine and slow-cooked lamb shoulder.
On the first floor, The Dalton Room will offer a more exclusive experience, accommodating parties of up to twenty seated guests. The private room will be available to book seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as standing receptions.
The second floor will house the first ever “The Ivy Asian” – a glamourous bar and restaurant, serving Asian-inspired cocktails alongside dishes such as Wagyu beef with truffle sauce, salmon fillet teriyaki, and avocado, crispy tofu, lime and ginger dressing. Here another private room, The Geisha Room, will also be available to hire privately.
Then the top floor will be ‘Manchester’s first Roof Garden’. The space will be open all year round with a fully retractable roof. An abundance of planting, greenery and foliage, roaring fire pits and colourful fabrics promise to create an enchanting oasis in the heart of Manchester.
Once open, the restaurant will host guest DJs, events and entertainment on each of its four floors. Reservations are now open on 0161 503 3222 and can be made for all floors.
