Have a Great Garden Adventure this summer at RHS Garden Bridgewater.
Set off on an explorer quest to see what you can discover, get closer to nature on a bug hunt and let your imagination run wild on a mindfulness adventure walk. We’ve got welly walks and storytime for little explorers too.

Explorer Quest
Saturday 23 July – Sunday 4 September
10am – 6pm, self-led trail
Explore a trail full of adventures and activities. Crack the codes around the garden and discover exciting outdoor challenges to try.

Activities are included with garden admission, free to RHS members and drop-in unless stated otherwise.

Interactive Storytime with ZooLab
Middlewood Events
Let your imagination run wild at this fun interactive storytelling event. Hear a tale of garden adventure written especially for Bridgewater and meet the mini-beast characters who star in it.

Meet magnificent owls, hawks, falcons and eagles and watch them take flight in the garden. Flight times and location will be advertised on the day

Toddler Tuesdays

A special adventure for little explorers aged 0-4 years old, including a fun welly walk and story time.
Every Wednesday
Wellbeing Wednesdays
4 times a day, 45 mins per session, meet at Middlewood Events
Connect with nature and use all your senses on a guided Wildfulness Walk through the garden.
Every Thursday
Big Bug Hunt
11am, 1pm & 2pm, Learning Garden
Grab your magnifying glass and join the education team to find out all about the creepy-crawlies that live in the garden.
Planting and craft activities
Every Tuesday and Thursday, Fri 12, 19, 26 Aug, Fri 2 Sep
1pm – 3:30pm, Middlewood Events
Get creative and have a go at a nature inspired craft workshop, from creating a giant tree out of bark rubbings to creating your own bird feeder.
Normal garden admission prices apply.
All activities are free and drop-in unless otherwise stated
RHS Members and under 5’s go free and Salford residents can visit for free every Tuesday.
