The ‘People’s Tenor’ Russell Watson will perform an exclusive ‘Greatest Hits’ Concert in Manchester in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust on Wednesday 15 June.

The fundraising event, sponsored by Morson Group, at the city’s iconic Bridgewater Hall, offers the chance to see the Salford-born tenor give a rare performance of his repertoire of classical hits such as Land of Hope and Glory, O Sole Mio and Bring Him Home with all monies raised benefiting Teenage Cancer Trust.

Every day, seven young people in the UK aged 13-24 hear the devastating words “you have cancer” and their lives are turned upside down. Teenage Cancer Trust helps to fund specialist hospital units, nurses and youth workers across the UK that provide outstanding age-appropriate care and emotional support to those in need.

The concert is being organised by the Teenage Cancer Trust North West Corporate Advisory Board, made up of key business figures and legendary leaders from a range of private-sector organisations. Their purpose is to raise the profile of the Teenage Cancer Trust in the North West through a deeper network of connections with businesses and leaders who operate here.

Tom Samson commented: “We’re delighted that this event, originally scheduled for 7 December 2021 as a festive soiree, is now taking place on 15 June as a summer celebration of togetherness, with all original tickets valid, we still have a few to sell so please buy tickets and join us to enjoy Russell’s greatest hits whilst raising vital funds for such a worthy cause.”

Russell Watson’s Greatest Hits takes place on Wednesday 15 June at 7.30pm at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall. Buy your tickets here: Russell Watson | In Aid of Teenage Cancer Trust | The Bridgewater Hall (bridgewater-hall.co.uk)
