A Series of Caffeine-Fueled Fun All Packed in One Single Ticket
The Manchester Coffee Festival is a must-attend event for coffee enthusiasts and industry professionals alike. This year's festival promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with Cup North hosting the highly-anticipated coffee competition Extracted Development across the two-day event where talented baristas and roasters from across the UK unite, bringing the real life behind-the-bar scene on stage. Unlike the usual competitions, attendees will be encouraged to interact with the competitors and get to taste their delicious competition coffee at a brew bar setting.
With an exciting program in store, this year's festival promises a blend of entertainment, education, and exceptional coffee. Highlights include a talks and panels program bursting with insights from industry experts; a tasting room taking you on a sensational journey through the diverse world of coffee origins; a series of workshops for you to learn new cool skills, a Makers Marketplace packed with crafty wonders, live music featuring some of the best Manchester artists, fun and entertaining LGBTQ+ friendly family program in collaboration with Drag Queen Story Hour UK and The Proud Trust. The festival will also feature food, drinks, art and much more. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and innovations in the coffee industry, and to connect with other coffee lovers from around the UK.
A Diverse Showcase of Coffee Delights from Over 60 Exhibitors and Partners
This year, Manchester Coffee Festival is proud to showcase the work of over 60 exhibitors from across the UK, each bringing their unique coffee products, artisanal treats, and coffee-related products. From specialty coffee to delectable treats, you'll find it all under one roof.
We have also partnered with notable brands such as Oatly, La Marzocco, Stores, KeepCup, European WaterCare and Brew-It Group, who will be providing their top-notch equipment and products to exhibitors and will be on hand to connect with attendees.
Sip Responsibly: We're Going Paper Cup Free!
In line with Cup North’s sustainable mission this year, the Manchester Coffee Festival will be paper cup free for the first time. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own reusable cups to the festival to enjoy a more environmentally-friendly coffee sampling experience. Water stations will be set up around the venue for attendees’ convenience. Our partner KeepCup will also be on hand loaning their cups for free at the festival for people to enjoy their coffee.
Brewing Change in Communities
In 2023, Cup North launched a Community Partner Program which aims to support different charity organisations who share their ambition to make a positive contribution towards specialty coffee communities and the communities local to their events. The Manchester Coffee Festival will be partnering with Farmers’ Voice Radio to support their mission to transform the lives of millions of farmers and rural communities through the power of radio, and with The Proud Trust to build a more diverse and inclusive event for the local community. 6% of all ticket sales will be evenly donated to both organisations. Attendees will also have the chance to meet with the teams and learn directly about the incredible work they are doing at the festival
