It’s hotting up at Hatch and July is set to be a scorcher with a new amazing addition to the independent food, drink and retail neighbourhood with burgers and a market on the agenda.
Up and coming burger aficionados, That Burger Place is set to join the raft of food and drink traders at Hatch for its first city centre site. The team will be serving up their New York-inspired burgers with one very special one as exclusive to Hatch. From the decadent Kevin Bacon Fries, to the signature California Dreaming burger with Big Bob’s sauce and the award winning New Yorker burger, the menu is on another level. The exclusive dishes to Hatch include the Homer Doughnut Burger, as a weekly Saturday special.
That Burger Place is a family run business that was born in Swinton in 2017 and has gone on to create an enviable reputation as one of UK’s most promising new burger businesses. A second site is now up and running in Walkden and the team are known for serving up thousands of burgers a week such is demand for their authentic dishes and their secret spice blend. All the recipes are a closely guarded secret with only a select few people in the ‘know’.
A brand new Makers Market will be coming to Hatch on Sunday 11th July from 12.00 - 5.00pm.
The free event will feature ten new artisan and local makers on site selling everything from handmade jewellery to beautiful home furnishings.
It’s the second in the second series of Hatch’s popular new outdoor monthly markets as the destination is once again taken over by even more amazing and talented independent businesses.
Whilst visiting the market shoppers can also drop into much loved Suzy Loves Milo for reworked and upcycled vintage clothing from around the globe or drop off dirty sneakers and shoes at Sneaker Pharm the city’s first premium shoe cleaning boutique, pick up some handcrafted spiced spirits and liqueurs at O’Donell’s Moonshine and shop at 3Trio Hatch’s new premium, vibrant and stylish independent fashion brand catering for smart/lounge/casual and street wear.
There’s also live music in July in the form of Good Custard Disco returning to Hatch on Friday 16th July for the first of the Motorway Disco Series! They will be joined under the A57 by none other than London based disco duo Mas Que Nada Brothers. Expect good vibes via Disco, Disco House, Funky House, House, Nu Disco. This is a free event with only a limited amount of guaranteed entry tickets available. The world renowned DJ Paulette is also appearing on the decks on Friday 30th July. Paulette has held residencies at some of the most prestigious clubs and best parties in the world including The Hacienda, The Zap Club and Ibiza Rocks at Pacha.
