It’s a jam-packed month of tricks, treats and eerie experiences at the Trafford Centre this October.
From the launch of SPOOKFEST, to a Halloween Spooktacular Big Top show for all the family, as well as creepy cocktails, Halloween makeovers and exclusive treats at a number of stores and restaurants – there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained and get into the Halloween spirit!
Don’t miss SPOOKFEST, a spooky spectacle of hair-raising horrors and lots of tasty treats (and tricks!). Creep into the haunted haybale maze, take a ride on the ghastly ghost train and tuck into devilishly delicious dishes from independent brands including Epic Pizza, Old School Dogs and Cha Cha Cha [open from 15 October].
SPOOKFEST will be situated outside The Orient, opposite The Great Hall entrance, and is open every day from 11 - 31 October. As part of SPOOKFEST, there will be other activities taking place across the centre, including spine-chilling show dances over Halloween weekend, as well as creepy cocktails and exclusive treats to try at some of the centre’s restaurants. Halloween Spooktacular: 15 – 31 October
Gandeys Circus - the creators of Cirque Surreal and the Chinese State Circus - will be returning with an action-packed Halloween Spooktacular Big Top show for all the family. Trick or Treat: 28 October, 11am – 1.30pm
The Trafford Centre Trick or Treat trail returns on 28 October, where little ones are invited to pick up their free (and sanitised!) Halloween bucket from the customer service desk and scour the centre for treats. The experience has been carefully risk assessed and designed in line with COVID-19 safety measures, including hand sanitiser available across the centre and at each store. Watch out for a number of spine-chilling show dances taking place across the centre on Halloween weekend – with some very special guests!
Creepy crafting at Selfridges: 29 – 31 October

Meet the Hairy Bikers at Waterstones: 11 October, 1pm
Si and Dave will be at Waterstones signing copies of their new recipe collection, The Hairy Bikers’ Everyday Winners. The Hairy Bikers are renowned for the passion with which they present uncomplicated, delicious food through their books and their broadcasting. Their new recipe collection emphasises simplicity, flavour and comfort. No ticket is required, but visitors should arrive promptly to avoid disappointment.
New openings – including Thaikun, Therapie Clinic and Kenji
The centre is buzzing with exciting new brands, such as Therapie Clinic, Untuckit, Thaikun and Kenji, as well as some recently renovated stores including VANs.
Exciting pop-ups – including Royal British Legion, Samsung and TalkTalk
The malls will be bustling with some exciting new promotions this October. From 18 October, Royal British Legion will be in the Main Dome for their annual Poppy Appeal. From 23 October, Samsung will be showcasing their new Samsung Galaxy Z range of flip and fold phones in an exclusive ‘flip or fold’ maze! And from 30 October, TalkTalk will be bringing a haunted house experience to The Orient, with an escape room experience and excusive prizes to be won.
Trafford Treetops Halloween Spooktacular: 30 -31 October
