On the last Sunday of each month, Ashton's famous market ground hosts a Farmers' and Producers' Market. With over 70 stalls it is the biggest in the region, The Farmers' and Producers' Market was recognised as the Best in The North West by the NFU and was voted the Best Farmers' Market in the North West by readers of the Observer Food Magazine.
