One of the biggest and best swimming facilities in the country. It was purpose built for the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games and is the only centre in the UK to have two 50-metre swimming pools under one roof! If that is not impressive enough the centre also boasts a diving pool with varying depths, fun pool with slides, sauna and steam room plus many other mixed leisure facilities.
Visitors can take advantage of a variety of membership options for both the pool and fitness suite, or for those don’t plan on being a regular user then there is always the option to pay-as-you-go. Visitors can also sign up for swimming lessons either to learn to swim or improve stroke technique - there are a range of lessons designed for swimmers of all abilities.
The centre has been host to a number of international swimming events and galas and is the training facility for the British Paralympics Swimming Squad, so visitors may also get the opportunity to see some world-class swimmers in action.
Lots of amazing sights from the natural world and different cultures.
