A magnificent building alongside Salford Quays, inside visitors will find three stunning theatres alongside galleries showcasing artists of local, national and international renown.
The Lyric (the largest stage in England outside London) and the more intimate Quays. With a huge variety of performances, The Lowry's Lyric and Quays Theatres offer a wealth of fabulous entertainment, including West End musicals, the very best in drama, live bands, famous comedians, plus world class dance and opera. From Peter Kay to the Kirov Ballet, Morrissey to Alan Bennett and much more.
The Lowry Galleries showcase changing exhibitions by one of Britain's best loved artists, LS Lowry, as well as paintings, sculpture and photography from around the world. There's always something new and refreshing to see in the galleries. Gallery entry is free.
Pier Eight is The Lowry's brand new restaurant and bar. With its stunning waterside setting overlooking Salford Quays and the Manchester Ship Canal, it's the perfect venue for a relaxed lunch, delicious pre-show meal or dinner out.
With cafés, Pier Eight restaurant and gift shops all set against spectacular waterside views, there is something for everyone at The Lowry.
For families, kids will love The Lowry, with its bright orange staircases, sloping blue floors and purple and glass walls but it also has lots of secret corners waiting to be discovered. With baby-changing, bottle and food-warming facilities, pushchair access, as well as gifts which will appeal to younger visitors in the shop - The Lowry caters for all your family needs.
With family fun throughout the building, guided tours, the Meet Mr Lowry film, plus participatory activity for all ages, The Lowry is a great day out.

From: M602, J3, 0.25 miles (0.4 km) Directions: From the M60 take junction 12 for the M602. Salford Quays is a quarter of a mile from junction 3 of the M602. Follow The Lowry signs. There is a secure multi-storey car park only 150m from The Lowry. (car park charges apply)The Lowry Coach Park accommodates up to 25 coaches (free). There is a drop-off point directly in front of The Lowry.
