Treehouse Hotel Manchester has opened this week, marking the arrival of the second UK property in the Treehouse Hotels portfolio, part of Starwood Hotels collection. The hotel opens with 200 treehouse-inspired guest rooms including three accessible rooms, and more rooms including eight suites and a Treetop Suite queued up for later this year. Treehouse Hotel Manchester is a destination where all are welcome to reconnect with nature, explore city culture, and indulge in moments of fun and nostalgia with the backdrop of whimsical interiors, eco-conscious design, and an array of exciting dining and social spaces. In addition to the hotel, the ground-floor restaurant Pip by Mary-Ellen McTague also opens today, reimagining local culinary heritage through seasonal, low-waste menus prepared using the bountiful produce of the North West.
Guests can experience a unique dining experience at Pip by Mary-Ellen McTague (opening today) – focused on low-waste cooking and seasonality. This all-day restaurant champions locally sourced ingredients from trusted producers – including Littlewoods Butchers, Cinderwood Market Garden, Organic North, and Courtyard Dairy. Pip at Treehouse Hotel Manchester offers a relaxed yet refined experience across its restaurant, lounge, and bar spaces, making it a welcoming destination from morning to evening.
A state-of-the-art fitness space ‘The Playground’ Gym has been built for energising workouts and wellness-focused routines. The Playground is spacious, thoughtfully curated, and features bespoke equipment designed exclusively for Treehouse Hotels. Open to hotel guests, The Playground will introduce a membership programme, providing Manchester’s fitness enthusiasts with access to top-tier facilities in a vibrant and welcoming setting.
Treehouse Hotel Manchester is celebrating its opening with a series of activations in collaboration with local creatives, wellness experts, and artists. From art workshops to fitness sessions and cosy film nights, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
