1. RNCM Children’s Opera: Treasure Island at RNCM – 6 February

The annual Children’s Opera is an RNCM flagship project and sees 150 children from our four local schools performing alongside over 100 RNCM students in a fully staged new production written by the children and composer Kate Pearson. This year’s exciting production is based inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson’s beloved Treasure Island. Enjoy the choice of either an afternoon or evening performance on 6 February at RNCM.

2. Neighbours 40th Anniversary at Bridgewater Hall – 18 February

Following on from the phenomenal sell out success of The Celebration Tour, Neighbours is returning to the stage, with a new line-up, new stories, and a brand-new reason to celebrate. Join some of your favourite faces from Ramsay Street as they celebrate four decades of the show's history, for Neighbours – The 40th Anniversary Tour. Coming to Bridgewater Hall on 18 February.

3. Gavin James at Band on the Wall – 15 February

Honing his performing and songwriting gifts as a busker and pub performer in Dublin, since being championed by the likes of Ed Sheeran and the release of his early records, James has built a community of fans that have seen his music streamed three billion times across the globe and earn diamond and platinum records in multiple countries. Bringing his Irish folk charm to Band on the Wall on 15 February.

5. James Blunt at AO Arena – 15 February

Naughties legend James Blunt is bringing his iconic Back to Bedlam album back in a special remastered version, celebrating 20 years since its initial release. Included in this special 20th anniversary release comes a tour of the UK and EU, including AO Arena on 15 February.

6. Manchester International Gospel Concert at Stoller Hall – 16 February

Manchester Inspirational Voices brings together choirs and singers from Europe and the UK for a gloriously uplifting concert to banish those February Blues. With the huge talents of the supremely gifted Clinton Jordan and Wayne Ellington, come prepared to be on your feet, clapping your hands, singing along and totally swept away with the sheer energy, enthusiasm, joy and pizzazz this concert will bring. Coming to Stoller Hall on 16 February.

7. ABB x REC at Amber’s – 21 February

The brand new 1000 capacity, multi room club is bringing a night of Tech and House DJs. The main room support will be from residents AVIAX and SAM PRATT and dancers FIRE AT THE DISCO, as well as a number of local bands and artists. Experience Manchester’s most exciting new venue Amber’s on 21 February.

8. Snow Patrol at Co-op Live – 22 February

Snow Patrol, one of the most successful UK bands, are starting their 8 date UK & Ireland Arena tour in February 2025, including a show at Co-op Live on 22 February 2025. Their new album The Forest Is The Path, is the Northern Irish band’s first in six years and joins the list of their most celebrated albums including Eyes Open and Fallen Empires.

9. HandsomeRat + special guests at Fuel Café – 22 February

A night of Indie, Rock and Pop and Beats with two fantastic bands with opening set from rising solo star Salford Brad and The Modalites, finishing up with headliner Handsome Rat. Coming to Fuel Café in Withington on 22 February.

10. The Fairway Live at North Chadderton Social and Bowling Club – 28 February

The Fairway take to North Chadderton Social and Bowling Club with their biggest headline show on their journey through the Indie Rock scene. With inspiration from the likes of Oasis, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Courteeners, The K's and many more old and new bands, their debut single My Dirty Old Town released in November 2024 has quickly gained themselves a number of streams and new fans. Join their other fans at North Chadderton Social and Bowling Club on 28 February.
