SCENE. Manchester LGBTQ+ Film & TV Festival

Celebrating queer stories on screen.

After a dazzling debut in 2024, SCENE Manchester’s LGBTQ+ Film and TV Festival is back and gearing up for an even bigger celebration of queer screen culture this summer.

The week-long festival will run from Friday 15th to Thursday 21st August, showcasing the best of both new and classic LGBTQ+ cinema and television.

Expect previews of brand new feature and short films, TV shows, documentaries and celebrations of favourites from the past along with Q&As, events, parties and more.

Screenings will be hosted in spaces throughout the city including outdoor screens, traditional cinemas and pop-ups in iconic city venues - AVIVA Studios, CULTPLEX, Fairfield Social Club, First Street, HOME, New Century Hall, Treehouse Hotel and Vue at Printworks.

SCENE will offer a mix of ticketed and free events with a portion of the festival’s profits donated to the Manchester Pride charity, supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

Many events are free, and ticket prices start from £2.50.
