SCENE. Manchester LGBTQIA Film & TV Festival
SCENE, is a brand new LGBTQ+ Film and TV Festival, and a Manchester Pride Festival Official Partner Event.
The week-long festival will run from Friday, 16th August to Thursday, 22nd August 2024, celebrating both new and classic LGBTQ+ cinema and television.
You can expect classics, timeless queer camp films, TV shows, documentaries, feature films, previews of fresh content, and shorts, along with Q&As, events, parties and more.
Screenings will be hosted on screens in spaces throughout the city including outdoor screens, traditional cinemas and pop-up spaces in iconic venues.
The festival will offer a mix of ticketed and free events with a portion of the festival’s profits donated to the Manchester Pride charity, supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
